War For Influence

War of influence summary

Raising the flag of revolt, the rebel army grew even larger after their departure from Starlite Valley. Since then they have built themselves up to a power that almost rivals Bygeniou. Arlington is their new home. The Deca Cowboys, who have settled on planet Phillon, are the war heroes of any army. They are the best pilots in both nations and would surely be welcomed by both with rich rewards. The real fight begins when players can choose their nation. Players can participate in the war at any time to receive the fame they deserve. Once a player has chosen a nation, it cannot be changed. This nation is the nation all your characters will be part of in the future. Think hard before you choose your nation!

Choose a Nation

1) When you have reached level 11 you can choose between the Bygeniou regular army and the Arlington rebel army. Before choosing a nation you will need to think hard as there are tax differences based on national population distribution. As it currently stands, if both nations have a 50/50 population split, no one is taxed. For each percent of population over 50 that one side has, that side is taxed 1 extra percent for all purchases.
2) You cannot choose your nation while being in a formation.
3) The nation you choose is the nation your ENTIRE ACCOUNT will belong to. Other characters you create are automatically assigned to that nation. To change nations you will need to create a new account and start all over again.

Rules of Nation War

1) You cannot trade or chat with users of the opposite nation.
2) You are always at war with the opposing nation. They will be able to attack you and you will be able to attack them at all times. The only exception concerns low level maps or safe channels which can only be entered by the nation those territories belong to.
3) You will receive one fame point, one brigade point, one nation contribution point and one killmark every time you bring down an enemy gear.
4) You cannot enter the other nation's city.
5) You can use the supply shops in enemy territory.
6) If you die in the following maps, and they are enemy territory, you will be teleported back to your home city: Tylent jungle and Reynard beach.
7) You receive nation contribution points for bringing down enemy gears and warships. At certain levels, the following will happen:||

Nation Points Status
Phase 1 97000 Scout gears will be sent out to spy on the enemy nation.
100000 A warship will be deployed to the other nations' region 15 minutes after reaching this level.
Phase 2 197000 Scout gears will be sent out to spy on the enemy nation.

Rewards of winning nation

1) If the warship which appears at 100,000 points is brought down, the following will happen:

Fame points

1) The points that you gain by bringing down other nations' gears in game are accumulated and ultimately decide your rank.
2) Players will be ranked based on their fame and level. They will also be separately ranked based on PvP duel win/loss. These ranks will be posted regularly on the game's homepage.

Killmarks

You receive killmarks when you bring down an enemy gear. You will NOT get a killmark for duels.
1) Killmarks cannot be traded with other users. They can be sold in shops for a small amount of SPI or they can be used to be exchanged for EXP points

4) The higher the level of the killmark is, the more money you will get for selling it and the more EXP you will get for using it.

Leader system

The leader, often referred to as the 'president', is the person who legislates, manages the economic side of the nation and serves as the commander in chief of the military. The one becoming nation leader receives plenty of power and economic help. Furthermore, he has the chance to communicate with the other leader face to face to settle arguments. They are responsible for solving all conflicts as well.

1) Qualifications to become the leader are as follows:
- You must be the leader of a brigade with at least 20 people.
- You must have at least 1,000 personal fame points.
- You must be at least level 60.
- You must be the leader of a brigade with atleast 20 people and 1000 brigade fame.
• These are general guidelines. For the sake of game balance and for any other reason, GMs reserve the right to bypass these rules at any time. After all, would you want to be in a leaderless nation?

2) The leader has the following privileges:
- The colour of the name is bright green.
- You will receive a special piece of equipment with a unique visual effect and a significant amount of defense. The item is an accessory item, it can neither be traded nor put into the warehouse. The leaders' stat bonuses are subject to change at any time.
- You can use the warp shop for free.
- You will receive 10 attack buff items which affect everyone in your nation in the same map you're in when you use it. The effect lasts 30 minutes.
- You will receive 5 items so the nation has a happy hour for two hours.
- You can whisper with the other nation leader.
- You can send messages to the entire nation.
- The leader can detect which maps are being raided from anywhere.
- The leader can post notices onto the flare in the cities. To set this message, type in "/noticeboard [minutes] [message]".
- The leader can chat with the entire nation by typing "*[message]".

3) Each nation leader is elected by a voting system. Players can appoint themselves as candidates, but there is a deadline for nominations as well. So everyone has the chance to vote. The nations' leaders can be seen on the homepage.

Flares

Flares are set up in each nation's home city. They show the nation's total contribution points. When another nation's gear is brought down, one national contribution point is added. When another nation's warship is brought down, 100 national contribution points are added. Each nation's leader can type in "/noticeboard [minutes] [message]" to post a message to this flare.
